Hi! My name is Josi Rahne and I am a second grade teacher at

Vandyke Elementary School. This will be my third year teaching

second grade. Previously, I taught first grade and kindergarten.

I am very grateful to be able to teach in the

community where I grew up and attended school. Greenway Schools

are a terrific place to work and learn.

 

I completed my degree in Elementary Education through Bemidji State University. I was a member of the Dlite program, an online elementary education program. I was able to earn my degree online while starting a family. I am currently working towards earning my Masters Degree in Reading and Literacy through Capella University. I hope to complete it this winter!

 

My husband Mike and I have two busy boys, David (9) and Wyatt (7). We also have one sassy little girl, Charlee (3). We have a dog, Champ, who thinks he is a human! We enjoy spending time with family and friends, exploring the outdoors, and reading together as a family. I have a few different hobbies that I enjoy including; photography, reading, watching movies, taking over the house with fun craft projects, and searching for sea glass on the shores of Lake Superior.

 

 I absolutely LOVE being a teacher! I can't think of a better career!
